A fight was battled between SunCal and the metropolis council of Anaheim, Washington dc for the right to make affordable housing in " Mickey's backyard”. " In the early 1990s, the city experienced designated two square kilometers adjacent to Disneyland as a particular resort region, ” (Lawrence, A. 2010). SunCal bought 26 massive areas in the two mile radius set aside pertaining to resort and tourism armed with the idea of building condos and making 15 percent of them to get below-market tenants. The city of Anaheim compared this idea. This paper will define the relevant market and non-market stakeholders and will provide a likely resolution for the fight for inexpensive housing. The relevant market, or primary, stakeholders involved in this kind of fight are the developer- SunCal, the workers by Disneyland, and Disneyland by itself. " Market stakeholders will be those that participate in economic orders with the company as it carries out its main purpose of rendering society with goods and services, ” (2010). nonmarket stakeholders are those who are indirectly involved with the firms who happen to be disagreeing to. " The town council, people of Anaheim and the cost-effective housing promoters are the relevant non market stakeholders in this case, ” (Charles, J. 2012). These are the individuals who will have a great impact on the outcome of the fight but have no direct contact with the organization. The quality to this combat would be intended for SunCal; or the city of Anaheim, to buy property outside the holiday resort district and make affordable housing within the metropolis limits and close by Disneyland for the sake of the employees who have a long drive to work. This could keep the tourism and the hotel intact and would make cost-effective housing offered that Disney employees may afford.
